| PSA Jam: PSA Jams are about drawing (and writing or cosplaying, if someone can help set that up) Phantasy Star related works within a predetermined theme. These jams are not a contest, but a way to have fun together with fun themes, trying to challenge yourself and get help from others. Anyone can enter, as long as your submission is specifically made for that particular drawing jam and if it meets the requirements. When, where, why? When: There will be a drawing jam for each month. This also sets the duration in which you can submit your art: The whole month. No buts, to late is to late. Where: A few days before the start, the Drawing Jam will be announced in a journal on the PSA group page. There will be a special folder in the gallery for the drawing jams with subfolders for each drawing jam. There you can submit your work. For the WIP’s we still have to decide what to use. Why: Mostly to have fun together making art, helping each other out. And to win some prizes... huh WHAT? yeah.. read on... Point system In order to make the jams even more rewarding and to give you guys a goal and reason to enter jams you’d otherwise skip, I decided to introduce a point system. You can rack up points you earn by getting in the top 10 of the drawing jam. When you get enough points, you can exchange them for prizes, by sending a message to me. Drawing Jams will have various levels of difficulty ranging from level 1 to level 3. The higher the level, the more points you will be able to get when you get into the top 10. Each year will have: - 4 level 1 jams - 6 level 2 jams - 2 level 3 jams Since I assume I will be the only one donating prizes for now, don't expect totally awesome stuff. It's just a bonus  . If more people decide to donate prizes, we can see if we can higher the rewards.For now, the rewards will be like this: Level 1: 1st place: 16 PSA-points 2nd place: 10 PSA-points 3rd place: 7 PSA-points 4th-10th place: 1 PSA-points Level 2: 1st place: 32 PSA-points 2nd place: 20 PSA-points 3rd place: 14 PSA-points 4th-10th place: 2 PSA-points Level 3: 1st place: 64 PSA-points 2nd place: 40 PSA-points 3rd place: 28 PSA-points 4th-10th place: 4 PSA-points Currently I have the following prizes planned: 200 DA points > 30 PSA-points 500 DA points > 65 PSA-points 1000 DA points > 120 PSA-points 1500 DA points > 170 PSA-points 2000 DA points > 220 PSA-points 3 month DA subscription > 65 PSA-points 1 year DA subscription > 240 PSA points Besides these DA related prizes I also wanna add real world prizes later on. |
